Tepoinn 3D VR – High ratings speak more than a thousand words – that’s why we took a look at what is behind these VR glasses and whether they are worth buying.

We already know a lot of VR glasses, such as: the Pasonomi or ELEGIANT Universal 3D VR . The Tepoinn 3D VR is also one of the most popular smartphone VR glasses with a rating of over 4.2 on Amazon. And that at almost 400 reviews! We had known these VR glasses for a long time and were fans from the very beginning. But since the great reviews confirm us, we have updated our report on the Tepoinn 3D VR and incorporated these reviews.

Tepoinn 3D VR – Why are these VR glasses so special?

There are several variants of the Tepoinn 3D VR to choose from on Amazon. Our experience with the latest generation (second generation) has shown us that the few euros more investment is definitely worth it. With the Tepoinn 3D VR (second generation) it is possible to adjust both lenses separately. If you put the smartphone in the front of the holder, you could only set a distance for both eyes at the same time with Generation 1. People with 100% healthy eyes have no problem. Eyeglass wearers also benefit from the fact that their glasses are already tailored to both eyes separately. But people who do not need glasses, but still have unequal visual strengths in both eyes, actually never have a 100% sharp image in front of their eyes. The best smartphone brings the highest resolution nothing ( The best smartphones for VR ) when the eyes fail.

Therefore, the Tepoinn 3D VR is simply better in this case, because you can ideally adjust the distance between the eye, Linste and smartphone display for each eye. In addition, unlike Generation 1, the controls are on the top of the glasses. When putting on and taking off the glasses, you no longer accidentally reach the controls that were previously placed on the side. An enormous increase, the glasses do not have to be readjusted again and again.

How do VR glasses actually work with smartphones?

As with other VR glasses that work with smartphones, you only have to insert a smartphone into the front of the chamber provided for both Tepoinn 3D VR. In this case, smartphones with a display size between 4.5 and 5.7 inches are suitable. However, we have already had the experience that smaller and larger ones also fit in. But you should pay attention to the size specifications of the manufacturer.

After inserting the smartphone, you start an app (e.g. Google Cardboard app) on the smartphone and put on the glasses. Now you focus the screen by operating the controls on the VR glasses and start off.

How are the VR glasses connected to the smartphone? You don’t need that in this case. The smartphone has built-in motion sensors. You look through the lenses of the VR glasses directly at the display of your smartphone. The VR app divides the screen in the middle and creates an image for the left and right eyes. This also creates the 3D effect.

How do I use the app? Well, there is a small problem here with many VR glasses. And they do not have a magnetic switch. Our experts have come up with a small workaround: Retrofit VR glasses with a magnetic switch[Lösung] . A better solution, however, is a remote control that can be ordered for a few euros. Google has also opted for a remote control for your Daydream http://vr-junkies.com/de/vr-brille-magnetschalter-nachruestenView.

Where is the QR code for the Tepoinn 3D VR?

Unfortunately – as with other front-runner VR glasses (such as: VR Shinecon 3D , ELEGIANT Universal 3D VR or Pasonomi ), we couldn’t find a QR code for the Tepoinn 3D VR. But that’s not a problem, because we have found a suitable one: Read more – Tepoinn 3D VR QR code

The Tepoinn does not have a magnetic switch – no problem!

The Tepoinn has no integrated magnetic switch. Our tinkerers at VR junkies have come up with a workaround: See Retrofit VR glasses with a magnetic switch[Lösung] Experience shows that remote controls are still the best solution for this. The great thing about it is that you can also use this remote control to control your TV at home or other devices: VR glasses remote control
