“Not bad, Mr. Specht,” we thought when we took a closer look at the Elegiant VR glasses for the first time. Because these VR glasses actually deliver high-quality workmanship in the low-price segment. It even has a top ranking in ours VR glasses charts deserved. When such soft leather gently envelops the face, no eye stays dry when looking at the VR content. No fear! If you hang around on Pluto, you are still on Earth right now. No wonder the experience feels so real – Joking aside – the Elegiant Universal 3D VR has everything you could want:

  • A very comfortable design
  • Adjustable strap for the head
  • The distance between eyes and lenses can be adjusted separately for each eye

Type 1 and Type 2 – What’s the Difference?

In addition to type 1, type 2 is also offered. The Elegiant Universal 3D VR is a very similar model to the Shinecon . And we’re used to top quality from these VR glasses!

Back to Elegiant: Type 2 is, in contrast to type 1, a more modern model with some improvements (hence the higher price). The rotary controls for adjusting the distances are more precise here and can be set separately for each eye. The eyesight of both human eyes is not always 100% the same. Our experience is that with Type 1 it was never really possible to get a completely sharp image if you have two different eyes.

With type 2, the smartphone slot at the front has also been slightly changed.

As we can all too well remember our first test, we repeatedly had problems handling Type 1 because these controls were always adjusted when the VR glasses were put on and taken off. For example: we always accidentally hit our hands and had to readjust them. Do not worry with type 2, because the controls are now all well sunk on the top of the glasses.

Based on our experience, we would therefore recommend investing one euro more and not having to worry about these little things in retrospect.
