Touchpad on the right – a dream

Samsung has not been stingy with Oculus here. The touchpad controls on the right are one of the best solutions we’ve seen at the moment. As we have already reported, Google suddenly installed a magnetic button on its cardboard variant and, most recently, an NFC button. With the Gear VR, all apps can be operated skillfully via its touchpad , with which the price can definitely be seen. A normal “touch” can be made with the touchpad, as if you were touching the display with your finger, the volume can also be regulated and the back button can be pressed. Yes, unfortunately the Samsung Gear VR is only suitable for Samsung smartphones. So if you are the happy owner of a Samsung smartphone, you can experience an extremely good VR feeling. Because the integrated USB socket directly in the VR glasses ensures that you don’t run out of juice during the VR experience. This can happen extremely quickly with some complex VR apps.
