Samsung has unleashed another flagship in the Galaxy S9. Compared to the Galaxy S8, but it is only a “small” progress. But the Samsung Galaxy S9 is still very good for VR because it is also Daydream Ready.
The design differs only slightly from the predecessor Samsung Galaxy S8 and is available in 5 different colors. Now Samsung has also managed to position the fingerprint sensor under the camera rather than directly next to the camera. This has caused the predecessor model for a smeared camera lens, because one has put the finger very often mistakenly on the lens.

The camera of the Galaxy S9 scores with great shots even when there is little light. In addition, with the super slow motion video function every movement can be captured down to the last detail, similar to Sony’s Xperia XZ2.
Impressive display
As with its predecessors, the Galaxy S9 is equipped with an impressive Super AMOLED display. The colors appear lively and sharp. Of course, this is a great advantage for Virtual Reality and ensures a fascinating VR experience.
In addition, the display is almost borderless. But contrary to the trend of the “Notch” the Samsung Galaxy S9 remains a strip above, which does not necessarily benefit the screen-to-display ratio.

Yes, the Galaxy S9 is clearly suited for VR (Virtual Reality). It is Daydream-ready and therefore contents of Google’s platform “Daydream” can be enjoyed. With a screen size of 5.8 inches and a pixel density of a whopping 570 ppi , VR content looks sharp through the lenses of the VR glasses.
