Design-Technically, one can again get a strong design with metal frame and an impressive screen-to-body ration of 88.3%, the front is as good as filled with the high-contrast AMOLED display. In contrast to the Galaxy S9, there are two major changes: The camera has hiked directly into the display, Samsung has previously set to no Notch and has thus created an elegant solution. On the other hand, you can find on the back of glass, there is no fingerprint scanner more, which has also hiked directly into the display, where it reacts relatively well and quickly to unlock the smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 is available with 8 GB of RAM in the variants with 128 GB and 512 GB of memory. In addition, this memory can be extended with an SD card. The back of the Galaxy S10 now also offers Huawei the ability to wirelessly charge other smartphones and devices.

Again a good camera equipment in the Samsung Galaxy S10

As with the Samsung Galaxy S9, Samsung once again delivers outstanding camera equipment that can shoot impressive pictures and videos. This time, three cameras are used on the back. In dark shots, however, the pixel 3 still remains unbeaten.

Amazing Display

As with its predecessors, the Galaxy S10 comes with a stunning Super AMOLED display that makes colors look vibrant and sharp. In contrast to the Galaxy S9, the display has grown by 0.3 inches. At the edges, the display becomes a little bit thinner, which makes for a very smooth handling effect. For virtual reality, the Samsung Galaxy S10 is definitely suitable for the display with its pixel density of 550 ppi.

In addition, the display is almost borderless and by inserting the camera directly into the display, no “notch” has arisen. Thus, the screen-to-display ratio was improved in contrast to the Galaxy S9 a lot.

Is the Samsung Galaxy S10 suitable for VR?

The Galaxy S10 can be clearly said that it is for VR (Virtual Reality). It is not Daydream-ready tough and therefore contents of Google’s platform “Daydream” can’t be consumed. With a display size of 6.1 inches and a pixel density of a proud 550 ppi (see VR glasses resolution), VR content appears sharp through the lenses of the VR glasses.

The powerful Exynos 9820 Octa with a Mali-G76 MP12 GPU brings it to just under 340,345 points at Antutu and is thus well prepared for all current applications.
