With a pixel density of only 401 ppi, the iPhone 7 Plus unfortunately is far down on the list. No wonder – Apple is currently not in VR. The high price of the iPhone 6 and 7 is certainly not due to the display. It does not look any better with the smaller version (iPhone 7): with only 326 ppi it plays in the bottom league. But as mentioned earlier: Apple does not rely on VR.
